The vinyl purists, lo-fi freaks and general hardware heads that are the Analogue Cops, resume responsibility yet again tonight after their takeover last February of the Tresor basement floor. This time wood is replacing cement as they move one and a half floors up to the Globus Floor. Result: void sound and typical Cops‘s selection of diverse, excentric selektor personalities. Another personality is DJ Sotofett, the Norwegian co-chief of the Sex Tags Mania imperium with a weakness for specially eclectic sets ranging between house, jungle, techno, disco and pretty much every single main and sub-style that the late 60s beat continuum has produced. Complimenting this are two artists sharing tonight’s host’s Italian roots: New Yorker Madteo, a left-field producer, street poet and one-dollar rare vinyl detective of the best kind; as well as Milan’s conaisseur Mecca Dude Club: DJ Abstract. The basement Tresor Floor features a terrific techno limelight spectrum of our residents and label artists: Jonas Kopp, DJ Deep and Marcel Heese in full charge!
