Every Monday House Of Waxx involves different DJs, labels, residents or record shops to host a night with like-minded artists, BFFs and respected colleagues in Globus. The focus lies in vinyl DJing, buddy atmo and just flat-out good vibes. All in hyperfat sound, brought to you by Void Acoustics. Spin that mofo! Returning for a repeat Rawax featured night: Federico Molinari is an Argentina-born DJ and producer based in Germany. He is one of the co-founder with Nekes of Oslo, a German tech-house label based in Mannheim. Federico Molinari gained a quick reputation as a groove-based house DJ and producer, gathering emulation from house music peers around the world. Frankfurt artist and Rawax chief Robert Drewek began his career in the mid-90s, leading to his founding of DBH Music together with Alex Bau and Jörg Henze. Today DBH is one of the most important record distributions for electronic music and the home of his own label Rawax which had an amazing impact in the scene since day one. With upcoming releases on Robert’s labels by Boo Williams, Ron Trent, Murphy Jax, Ricardo Villalobos and of course new productions by himself, you can be sure to have a great time with his characteristically cool sound on the dancefloor tonight. There was quite a bit of buzz following Robin Scholz’s “Retrospective†release on Rawax in 2013, DeBug calling it “wonderful†and beaming with old school qualities with a modern face. Although the young Frankfurt artist can also mystify with a live set, he is prepared to groove you tonight on the turntables with his vinyl talent, playing B2B with fellow Frankfurt DJ and Implosive artist Alex Maier.
