Every Monday House Of Waxx involves different DJs, labels, residents or record shops to host a night with like-minded artists, BFFs and respected colleagues in Globus. The focus lies in vinyl DJing, buddy atmo and just flat-out good vibes. All in hyperfat sound, brought to you by Void Acoustics. Spin that mofo! Heiko M/S/O (Mental Sound Odyssee) has been a main player in the Frankfurt club scene since its inception. After hosting and establishing residencies at numerous clubs and parties and releasing a string of impressive techno tracks with Pascal Feos (F.E.O.S.), he eventually zeroed in on label work (his own Ongaku as well as Playhouse and Klang Elektronik). Heiko M/S/O has been a resident DJ at Offenbach’s Robert Johnson club since 1999, an insider tip for quality clubbing in Germany. Heiko‘s sets include a balanced mixture of influences, as well as soul & funk, disco and Chicago house, but also in reduced and original Detroit techno. Rawax’s Lumitecc released his debut EP this year on the label, titled “Spinnin Steel EP†it has proven to be a remarkable debut for this very promising Ukraine DJ. Indeed his sets can seem as cool as steel yet move into much warmer grooves, creating a fascinating spectrum of style. Rawax and Freebase artist Doreen from Frankfurt has guested on Radio X and can surprise the crowd with each of her inspired sets, surely getting the dancefloor rocking and the groove injecting a pleasurable night of house music dancing.
