Mattia Prete & Simone Scardino are Beat Movement, DJs, producers, A&R and event managers of the Blackwarer Label based in Rome. The distortion on the UK wave led them to conceive an absolutely innovating style, full of Old School influences, revealing them as fans of the genre – a sound that recalls the old classics of Detroit melancholy passing gradually into the deep Berlin tone. Beat Movement is passionate about music, a sound that mingles with the torpedo of plentiful and delicate musical origins. Italian artist Lorenzo is Lorén, who attended the SAE Institute in Milan to specialize in sound engineering, eventually moving to Berlin. Lorén doesn’t want to be categorized into one genre, he moves among different sounds, from techno to deep and house. Tonight’s new faces guests are hosted by our very competent techno resident Reka, and the Aurora Bar is held in musical captivity once again by Hyperaktivisit.
