Beschreibung zur Veranstaltung:
Evan Baggs is born and bred New Yorker now Berlin-based, and has gained a reputation through his sheer passion, clever track selections and precise mixing. International DJ’s and producers have recognized him as a legitimate up-and-coming talent and we welcome him back in our home tonight. Berlin-based producer Etienne just released a few months back his “Dez EP†on Undersound Recordings, the label’s second release. Deep, electro-infused, introspective, we welcome Etienne to Globus. Host Le Loup is one of those standout names amongst the current crop of young Parisian talent, sweeping the globe with his warm, groove-led productions and dance-inducing sets. A lover of Detroit techno, funk, jazz, and hip-hop, Le Loup was inspired by the likes of Daniel Bell to Theo Parrish, Baby Ford to Moodymann, expertly drawing on all facets of house music to create his own fresh and distinct sound. Downstairs in Tresor: We welcome back Spanish multi-faceted artists Valentin Corujo and Héctor Sandoval alias Exium. Working side by side for more than a decade, releasing cracking techno tracks since the millenium on labels like Tsunami and Warm Up. in 2008 they set up a new project called “Selección Natural†together with fellow countrymen Oscar Mulero, Christian Wünsch and Reeko, resulting in some of the best and purest techno produced in the peninsula over the last decade. The affinity materialized in the creation of the essential PoleGroup platform. Without a doubt Exium is the techno act of the moment in Spain. We aso welcome the return of Takaaki Itoh, Japanese techno producer, DJ and promoter who founded the acclaimed Wols label and endears his fan base with his ever-powerful, driving techno sets with a very modern approach. With terrific sets by regular Tresor Floor techno artists Synthek and Emanuel Münster, this promises some excellent dancefloor magic.
