Bonito House Club - Tresor New Faces

UK import based in Berlin, Youandwean was behind our decks a year ago and has managed to manoeuvre himself into an enviable underground position in the last few years. After initial success on labels like Hypercolour and with remixes of Gerry Read and Midland, he has moved on to become a firm part of the family at both Secretsundaze and Aus Music. With both labels Youandwean has fomented his deep, delicate yet propulsive house sound and has DJ’d with both crews at label events around the world. The Ghost is James Creed & Josh Tweek and they are a Berlin-based mobile record shop specialising in ’90s electronic music, and tonight we can get an acute taste of their electronica tendencies. Both are UK imports and Josh is affiliated with the Louche parties and podcasts in Berlin. We also welcome back Yooj: he is a Berlin-based producer & DJ from San Francisco, California. He released his first tracks in the summer of 2011 on Monique Musique, and his first solo EP, ‘Mademoiselle’ climbed high up the tech house charts, backed by a powerful Martin Buttrich remix. The new faces program on the Tresor Floor fishtails from the UK, Holland and back to Berlin. Romek Boyer aka Rommek is a London-based Techno producer & DJ. Recent vinyl releases on Weekend Circuit & No logo, plus digital releases on Labrynth & Sonntag Morgen, as well as having plenty more EPs lined up, proves he is a growing figure in the scene. Gaining support and playtime from DJ Deep, Francois X, Cassegrain and Arnaud le Texier, just to name a few, Rommek’s work is showing its potential, and making its imprint. Paolo Pizzuto is Synkopheit, a DJ whose project is “Syncope, a transient loss of consciousness, rapid onset, short duration, and spontaneous resolution.” Techno for your mind. Elad Magdasi is a young techno DJ who also bleeds acid into his sets that are simply infectious in their tremendous energy level and bangin’ quality. S.A.F. (Stamcell Altering Frequency) is the altered ego of Olle Hoolboom from Amsterdam. His first release was for the Authentic Pew label in 2014. Quickly after that, more releases followed on the labels TXTRL and Sueño Artificial. The S.A.F. sound is hard hitting and distorted. Olle currently just about lives in his studio, and there are way more releases coming from this young talent both his altered egos.
