Moe Espinoza aka Drumcell is founder of Droid Recordings and co-founder of Droid Behavior. I make noise and sometimes organize it in semi recognizable patterns. With the Raíz brothers, Vangelis and Vidal, he founded Droid Behavior in the early 2000s which lead to the infamous Interface warehouse series and lauded techno label Droid Recordings. Drumcell has developed an addiction to analog synthesis which has led to ceaseless experiments in his studio in search of new, mind-expanding sounds. As one of the most esoteric techno artists in North America, his sound disregards genre limitations and is everything but conventional techno. Producers and label owners Vangelis and Vidal Vargas aka Raíz have performed worldwide and are co-founders of Droid Behavior, the VRV label, manage Droid Behavior’s event production and the D-node podcast. As performers, Raíz fully harness the capabilities of technology to create a thick blend of Detroit-influenced techno and hard, gritty house. Macau’s best known techno DJ Gordon’s sets are built on deep and dark rhythms with a spacey groove coupled with an industrial sound drums kick. With an engaging presence and a knack for telling a story, he builds a unique connection with each audience, and works any room until it sweats. In Globus: rRoxymore, aka Hermione Frank, released her epic 10 minute debut “Wheel of Fortune” in the summer of 2012, which came via a split 12″ alongside Planningtorock’s ‘Patriarchy Over & Out” (Human Level / DFA Records). Returning to Planningtorock’s Human Level label, rRoxymore will release her first official EP entitled “Precarious/Precious”, featuring four tracks that combine nervous grooves, witchy cosmic synth lines, twisted snippets of acoustic instruments, and other signature sounds. DJ Normal 4: With one foot in the fields of the proto-rave sounds of the glorious summer of ‘92′ and one pumpin’ the house sounds emanating from Dusseldorf to London, Lyon to The Hague today. With high praised releases for respected Berlin label Klasse Wrecks and stars of 2016, BFDM, his sound has captured a geist that led to killer remixes on Aiwo Records – of which he is a founding member – and Chuggy’s Especial label. Steffen Störmer is Candy Pollard, a bright new talent from Heilbronn, and frequent guest and Tanzmichmal wizard Ron Wilson completes this crackin’ Globus line-up.
