Beschreibung zur Veranstaltung:
Founded in 2007, Restoration Records has gained a strong reputation as one of the last true Underground labels in the world. Its work avoid trends and fashions and aims to a canon and a tradition of Pure Soulful Techno music. The united forces of RESTORATION resist in Berlin, their label is a manifesto of their purposes: to provide to the dancefloors solid analogue fat sounds not following the trends but always digging deep into their roots with the eyes on the future. Founders are Marieu and Lucretio, both solo and as the Analogue Cops, or as their moniker Xenogears as they appear tonight on the Tresor Floor with a terrific live seet to celebrate 10 years. Invited to the soirée: DJ Bone, who some see as the champion of the underground, never bends to fit the “popular” DJ mold, those who recognize Bone know him for his uncompromising and innovative ways. His record label Subject Detroit is futuristic and unearthly while still displaying the true essence of Detroit’s Techno Soul. DJ Bone describes himself as “an uncompromising, hype hating, 100% independent, real Detroit native come auditory striker and soul controller that cannot be bought”. Croatian DJ and a true vinyl collector, Borut Cvajner is a heart driven lover of music who produces the kind of energy that always conveys to the audience. In his hometown of Pula, he organizes Ame evenings that combine electronic music and visual arts. Last year he joined with two of his closest friends to start Vakum, a vinyl-only record label. Also that year Borut gained his place on regional scene with numerous guest appearances culminating with his gig in legendary Berlin club Tresor on a New Faces showcase night in 2016. Limited artist and Tresor resident Marcus provides precision support with his fiery techno set. On the Globus Floor: Karen Gwyer is an American artist now based in London, whose fourth release on Alien Jams with Beatrice Dillon set a new standard for the label. Karen has released three LPs on Don’t Be Afraid, Opal Tapes and No Pain In Pop, as well as numerous singles and EPs. Born Free artist Matias Bruhn aka Samo performed at a summer 2016 New Codes night together with Sling. We welcome him back to the Globus decks tonight. Frequent Tresor Club guest Ron Wilson – Tanzmichmal boss and Submarine / 777 artist – also gives it up with a spicy house mix; and Germany’s Qnete found some positive critiques for his two EPs on Lobster Theremin and ZCKR, infectious sounds with nu-groove, old-school house touches, while at the same time other tracks explore more modern directions that have raised international eyebrows for this Bremen producer.
