Once again we present a Female:Pressure night, an ever-eclectic, edgy night with a terrific line-up for the 9th edition. Audrey Carcassonne aka AZF, puts heart and soul into an ideal club culture idea , sometimes even spilling over into the mutual respect and political fields. Her residences on Rinse France, besides advocating for eclecticism and tolerance, express her sturdy character reflected through the energy deployed during all her sets. AZF’s Boiler Room and Astropolis sets are evidences of that, as well as her taste for steady rhythms and industrial melodies. Melania Miszczyszyn is Melania ., whose techno set debuted at a Tresor new faces program a couple years ago. Since then she has been honing her skills all over Berlin and Europe, and we welcome her back to the decks. Melania . is a co-founder of the project VERZERRUNG, which is mainly focused on the Industrial/Wave party series at the the renowned Project Lab in Poznan, Poland, besides that she is a frequent resident at Hirscheneck in Basel,Switzerland. Her eclectic sets are mostly based on energetic Industrial, Techno, EBM, Electro, Rhytmic Noise and Experimental. Her unique vibe relies on unpredictability and constantly being on the move. VTSS is a Warsaw-based DJ and live performer. She is a resident of an infamous adventurous label/party Brutaż and a co-founder of Oramics project, broadcasting female/queer talents, in which she curates podcasts, makes events and workshops. In her expressive DJ sets and raw distorted live acts VTSS oscillates around techno, EBM, industrial and experimental music. And a Female:Pressure night is of course not without Kaltès, a musician, producer with an extensive background in music and art.. Now a passionate collector of strange and rare instruments, Kaltès is the sound-infatuated half of Anna Otto, and an active member of Female:Pressure‘s international network. In the +4Bar: Christelle Gualdi aka Stellar OM Source’s name is fittingly inspired in part by the pathway to higher consciousness and cosmos via one’s own voice. Based many miles away from her US counterparts in The Hague, South Holland, her interplanetary offering, Nite-Glo, sees her tempering the freneticism unleased on 2013’s Joy One Mile and its offspring 12” Elite Excel. Ziúr is a Berlin-based DJ/producer, dedicated to combining different sonic textures and brainy beats into a functional dancefloor framework – clearly intended for loud sound systems but without any strict loyalty toward a certain BPM or subgenre. Perera Elsewhere aka Sasha Perera is a London-born, Berlin-based Doom-Folk producer, songwriter and DJ. She releases her music on the Los Angeles music label Friends of Friends (FoFmusic). Eerie ambient meets psychedelic, avant R&B and experimental folk seamlessly co-exist to create elsewhere. Alyha Love aka Yha Yha is co-founder of New World Dysorder together with Jasmine Infiniti. She mixes everything from atmospheric techno, to bass, to vogue beats and house. She emerged as a DJ in 2016 right before her move to Berlin from the San Francisco Bay Area. Yha Yha hopes to create a sense of community for the trans/gender, non-conforming/non binary, persons of color and femme identified people. She hopes to uplift the artists of said community and bridge the gap between the real queer community to the rest of the world. Visuals tonight are by Kalma, a visual performer that uses real time processes to create light installations, interactive sculptures, mappings and VJ sets with her unique atmospheres and unrepeatable experiences and new adventures from one moment to the next.s.
