Beschreibung zur Veranstaltung:
Tresor Club resident DJ Barbara Preisinger, who heads her own vinyl label Slice Of Life, presents her Deep In The Box evenings in Tresor once a month, whole nights of warm, kicking house and deep techno with cutting-edge international house DJs, something that fans of the night have come to thoroughly enjoy. From her hometown of Munich to success in Berlin, Barbara founded first the “scape” label with Stefan Betke aka Pole and became a regular DJ in many Berlin clubs. Her passion is to play for the dancefloor, mixing kicking house and deep techno – often incorporating the music of many notable friends and artists. Tonight’s invited guests: returning to the Deep In The Box evening is true Berliner Borrowed Identity, a DJ, producer and remixer widely recognised as a chameleon within the electronic music scene. He can tastefully and strategically mix various forms of house, techno and disco depending on his reaction to the environment and the crowd, expanding his skills towards a more freestyle manner if he feels is appropriate for the occasion. Also returning one year after his last DITB appearance: Henrik Bergqvist was raised as a DJ through legendary Stockholm underground institution The Office, and creates dance music for timeless warehouse sessions. Bergqvist’s productions are eternal cuts of percussive and bouncing, murky and sparkling, laid back and forward-driven house music. Never over-produced, always playful, raw and naïve. And also returning DITB artist Bastian Volker is Baaz, a DJ and producer from Berlin, who is also the founder of his own Office Recordings. Baaz’s love for dubby sounds and echo chambers can be experienced in “The Reason“ and “Ancestor’s Fun“ (on Preisinger’s Slices Of Life label) although it’s obvious that Baaz also stays true to his Deep House roots. He skillfully combines spatial structures with his characteristic driving beats and organic sounds. “The Reason” is a grooving light-footed tune with a jumping bassline and develops, step by step, this driving energy, that will not let you go. “Ancestor’s Fun” brings up the energy level with stronger beats and open high hats, but the playful warm sounds and drifting strings keeps the wonderful flow that we love to hear from Baaz’s productions. On the Tresor Floor: Symmetrical Behaviour is the moniker used by VSK aka Francesco Visconti. No stranger to Tresor, this outstanding Italian DJ and producer is set to deliver a blistering live set as Symmetrical Behaviour tonight. This is certainly an avenue for more advanced sounds that we can above all take in with excitement tonight. His artistic involvement is all over the board so you should expect the highest in break-through, inventive sonic delivery. Dimi Angelis has been actively involved in the Dutch techno scene since the late nineties, his legendary raves at various locations still speaking to the imagination of many. Techno freaks abroad must know Dimi from his Counterpart and A&S project (w/ Jeroen Search). As for Dimi’s dj-sets, he can venture into the deepest of house or the bloodiest of nosebleed techno, but he always stays true to himself and to the music in its purest form. From Barcelona, Eric Fetcher has since his debut in the late 90´s, been inspired by Jeff Mills, Luke Slater. LoV Purest form of Techno music. Analog Techno : Intense, Rough Minimal and Hypnotic. But pay attention: there is a wicked groove in there as well… Our excellent techno resident REKA provides a bombastic techno support set that you don’t want to miss.
