Volkan Akin is a producer and live act for experimental minimal techno music. A music creator and a visual imaginative artist, Volkan Akin experiments with sounds, designing ever more extended and interlocking beat arrangements, a collection of techno, groove, and pure awesomeness. What Volkan Akin does is beautifully intertwining groovy patterns with clusters of voices, scratches and thorny beats that spike fluidly enough to make clubbers love the dance floor. Yosuke Gotoh aka Yoske is a DJ and producer who works between Berlin and Japan. Together with Nekes they released last year the first EP on the Lark label called “Magic EP”. We are pleased to welcome both of these talented artists to House Of Waxx. Nekes is one of the co-founders together with Frederico Molinari of Oslo Records, a German tech-house label based in Mannheim. Now a Berlin-based DJ and producer, Nekes has been a very influential part of electronic music and has formed and inspired the scene for many years. His urge to create groovy, percussive music and his one of a kind DJ mixes have taken Nekes across the globe performing in the hottest venues. He holds a big fan base and continues to innovate himself hosting parties, producing music and mixing. Appearances on Oslo, Cecille, Mobilee, Deep Series, Melisma Records etc. are part of Nekes’ discography and as usual various releases for selected labels keep coming, catching attention and giving a glimpse of what Nekes holds for us in the future.
