Beschreibung zur Veranstaltung:
Inspired by a raw and urban UK techno lineage, returning artist Kieran Whitefield aka Ansome‘s drums are heavyweight, his percussion fierce and his synths full blooded. All in all that makes for a live set that grabs your attention and drags you along for an enthralling ride. Littered with his own field recordings, it can be variously eerie or boisterous. Besides producing and releasing music on many top labels, Ansome also keeps busy by running his own label South London Analogue Material. A self-confessed Noisician, Paula Temple obliterated 2014 with ‘Deathvox’, her second monumental release for the legendary label R&S. Her debut ‘Colonized’ EP made one of biggest statements in 2013 for uncompromising techno, followed by remixes for avant-electronic acts The Knife, Perera Elsewhere and Planningtorock. Such refreshing high-voltage output has rapidly placed Paula Temple at the forefront of new techno. Few have a recent back catalogue as rich and diverse as returning DJ Randomer. His discography reads like a who’s who of modern techno: across a six year career, he’s produced four EPs for Untold’s Hemlock Recordings; released records for Hessle Audio, Numbers and Clone; and most recently, been cherrypicked for Ron Morelli’s L.I.E.S. As a DJ, Randomer is one of the UK’s finest, capable of effortlessly stitching together modern bass with classic techno and less esoteric 4/4 rhythms. Cadans is a Dutch techno DJ and producer based in London, and is a techno project of Jeroen Snik. His tracks are big room, boomy, hard-hitting stomping techno that is just right for the Tresor basement. In Globus: Kevin McAuley is Pangaea, a UK artist who makes electronic dance music that draws its energy from the bleeding edges between sounds. Steering clear of the self-perpetuating feedback loops that often exist within established scenes, his tracks instead express the elusive and innovative qualities that characterise club genres in their infancy. The result is music which ranks among both the strangest and most banging dance music to emerge from the UK in the last decade. His vision is perfectly demonstrated on his critically-acclaimed debut album ‘In Drum Play’ which featured on numerous ‘best of 2016’ lists. In 2007 Pangaea established the Hessle Audio label along with Ben UFO and Pearson Sound, which has expanded over the years to become a unique and pioneering force in modern club music. returning DJ is Elizabeth, a local house DJ who on the contrary finds herself behind the decks in the hippest clubs around Berlin and the country, serving up her unique style of house music for the dancefloor again in Globus tonight. Born in Berlin, artist Ron Wilson started out with his event & podcast series Tanzmichmal over a decade ago and is now busy with his own record label 777 Recordings, earning him underground credibility around the globe. With his residency at Tresor and hosting his own clubnight bookings at Globus, Ron Wilson counts among Berlin’s most prolific electronic music DJs, playing diverse styles ranging from techno to acid to house and electro.
