Beschreibung zur Veranstaltung:
Meat aka Carsten Schuchmann founded the well known Freebase Recordshop in Frankfurt/ Germany at the beginning of the nineties. He started also very early as a party promoter which he’s still doing today with Freebase-Tours in Europe and many other events at Robert Johnson or his “See Us There“ Festival. In 2009 Meat & DJ producer/remixer Chris Wood started their collaboration – they are now best friends, studio partners and rave brothers! Chris Wood has numerous releases and remixes under his hand, on some of the genre’s most famous labels. Together they have released on top international labels, and still continue to be a well known DJ team playing in clubs around the world alongside the big players in the DJ business. Lee Stacey (Pilchard) is best-known for his 2006 release “Amy” and as a demo songwriter for music production platform, FL Studio (formerly Fruityloops). Considered by many as a pioneer in the IDM and Bollockscore genres, Lee Stacey has been twisting sound and making harsh tasty beats since 1988. And we’re pleased to welcome back a sophisticated set from Frankfurt’s Robert Drewek, founder of Rawax: providing delicious sets of groovy house with techno impressions, Robert founded his own record distribution DBH Music in 2007 with Alex Bau and Jörg Henze. The tight cooperation between Rawax and House Of Waxx has continued a formidable cooperation with Monday nights in Tresor Club. Today DBH is one of the most important record distributions for electronic music and the home of Drewek’s Rawax which has had an amazing impact in the scene from day one. Tonight Robert and Lee brace the dancefloor for a power back-to-back DJ set!
