Beschreibung zur Veranstaltung:
Tresor Records celebrates the return of Psyk in its catalogue, with his new album ‘A Moment Before‘ (Tresor.308). The Spanish producer released his first single for our label, ‘Works’ , in 2015. Four years later, the production of ‘A Moment Before’ comes as natural progression, undoubtedly Psyk‘s most advanced piece of work to date. Psyk aka Manuel Anós is a solid staple of the current techno scene. His sets in the best clubs and festivals all over the world have helped crystallize his DJ talents making him one of the most requested DJs on the circuit, as well as running his own Non Series imprint since 2011. Deeply rooted in the Brussels electronic music scene as DJ and producer since 1993, Peter Van Hoesen is considered by many as a man with multiple musical talents: from straight-up dancefloor jackin’ techno to advanced abstract electronica, and the unforgettable hardware approach to his unique and dramatic live sets. Peter’s tracks and remixes have been released on his own labels Time To Express and Foton, as well as many others, not to mention his exceptional “Life Performance“ 14-tracks performed live in Tresor Club in 2013. (Tresor.265). Returning artist from the UK, producer/DJ Jake Woodhouse aka Pris launched his label Resin in 2013 with the release of “Unbeknown To Us” 4-track. This was followed by ten expertly curated EPs from himself and others. With the move to Berlin came his debut EP on Avian, titled ‘This Heavy Heart’ in 2016. Always busy either producing himself or remixing, 2017 saw Pris release ‘Faith & Honour’ EP on Semantica Records. The same year, Pris released the final record on Resin, a remix EP. 2019 is set to be Pris’ busiest year yet, with several forthcoming releases and the promise of a new record label to showcase some of his best music to date. DJ Juan Montero first moved to Berlin at the age of 17, afterwards moving from one place to another (Madrid, London, Denver), but eventually relocated back in Berlin. With his Tresor debut in 2015 at a Tresor New Faces showcase, Montero revealed his techno talents: he is now part of the Level Delta team, a Berlin-based electronic music project bringing out events and podcast series. In Globus: Catherine Britton aka Cassy’s lifelong love affair with music makes her one of the most respected selectors of her generation. A dynamic, passionate DJ with an encyclopedic knowledge of electronic music history and a record bag to match it, Cassy can dig deep in any given situation, bringing good vibes and contagious energy to the dance floor. Wih past residencies in Berlin, Ibiza, Amsterdam and Paris, she is a versatile and professional selector with an acute understanding of how to adapt to various settings. Through Kwench Records Cassy channels her experience into A&Ring fresh new music, encapsulating that uncompromising core vision. Launched in 2017, the label is intended to blur the lines between commercial and underground, house and techno, fun and top-notch quality, bringing in artists who embody an open-minded view of electronic music. With two decades of experience, Cassy embodies the fundamental characteristics of the archetypal DJ; skilled, knowledgeable, passionate, committed to entertaining the dance floor and utterly smitten with music in all its forms. For the last 12 years, Berlin-born Janina developed an impressive sharp ear, technical skills, an asserted signature, despite continuously evolving music tastes. Playing regularly in the best clubs in Berlin and in European capitals, Janina is now playing twice a month as a resident of Monasterio Club in Moscow. Tresor Club resident Handmade‘s DJing is perfectly tuned to the Globus Floor’s wavelength: oscillating between house and techno styles, the dancing crowd in a firm grip, driven to fill the dancefloor. An integral part of the Tresor resident team since 2009, Handmade earned his stripes in the rocky terrain of the Berlin nightlife. Little by little he developed his pumping original mix of superior and timeless dance styles that have particularly influenced his experience. Handmade’s explosive trademark DJ style: deep and dubby-grounded á la Detroit, with the jacking stabs of Chicago influences and occasional deviations into tougher or soulful soundscapes.
